The ARDC desires to promote and protect the integrity of the legal profession through education. We have developed CLE programs to provide you, the Illinos lawyer, with opportunities to enhance both your professional and personal development. Our programs are free and available on-demand. MCLE Professional
Responsibility Credit

The ARDC understands most lawyers have an obligation to fulfill a professional responsibility MCLE requirement every two years in order to continue to practice law in Illinois. See Rule 794(d). We want to help you fullfill this obligation. Our programs are accredited for free professional responsibility credit in Illinois.

Diversity
& Inclusion

Most lawyers, as part of thier MCLE obligation, need at least one hour in diversity and inclusion. See Rule 794(d)(1)(i). Diversity and Inclusion CLE focuses on challenges faced by groups under-represented in the legal profession, and encourages our legal community to explore prejudices and biases, and to develop strategies for changing behavior. We offer programs accredited for Diversity and Inclusion MCLE credit.

Mental Health
& Substance Abuse

In order to meet your MCLE obligation, you may also need at least one hour in the area of mental health and substance abuse. See Rule 794(d)(1)(ii). Judges and lawyers suffer from mental health and substance abuse issues at a higher rate than the general population. To assist Illinois lawyers meet their MCLE requirements and increase the health and well-being of the bar, we offer programs that are accredited for Mental Health and Substance Abuse MCLe credit.

CREDIT

The PMBR program contains a number of short modules/programs that are available to all Illinois lawyers and accredited for MCLE professional responsibility credit.
