Proper trust account management is essential to running an ethical law practice.

Program Objectives:
In this Program you will learn...
  • The requirements of holding client trust funds under Illinois Rule of Professional Conduct 1.15
  • The significance of an IOLTA trust account and how to open one.
  • The required records and accounting journals necessary to maintaining a trustworthy trust account.
  • How to do a trust account reconciliation.
