Program Description:
For most lawyers, establishing and maintaining healthy attorney-client relationships, as well as how lawyers end these relationships, is essential to a successful practice. In this Program, you will learn the ethics rules and best practices for establishing, maintaining and terminating an attorney-client relationship. You will also learn best practices for avoiding unwanted client relationships.

Program Objectives:
  • Learn the ethics rules that apply to establishing, maintaining and terminating a relationship with a client.
  • Apply the ethics rules to several different scenarios.
  • Reflect on how you can protect yourself and improve your client relationships.

The ARDC reports individual attorney attendance to the MCLE Board by the 5th of the month subsequent to the date of completion of the MCLE program (for example, September events will be reported by October 5).
