Diversity & Inclusion: A Blueprint for 2017 & Beyond



Program Description:
Completing this course will provide you with the framework for the language and business case for making diversity and inclusion a priority at your firm. You will learn: what is meant by diversity and inclusion; the history of diversity of the U.S. Supreme Court; how to build the business case for diversity and inclusion in your law firm; and best practices for lawyers and law firms to improving diversity and inclusion in the legal profession.

Program Objectives:
  • Learn the definitions of diversity and inclusion and why they are important, as well as the history behind the diversity movement and how certain U.S. presidents tried to promote diversity and inclusion in their Supreme Court nominations.
  • Apply best practice tips to promote and improve diversity and inclusion in your firm and in the legal profession.
  • Reflect on the importance of leadership when it comes to diversity and inclusion.
