Client Communication Issues



Program Description:
An overview of the requirements of ILRPC 1.4 including: practical advice about maintaining good client relations; the effective use of written engagement and end-of-the engagement letters; and dealing with difficult clients.


Program Objectives:
  • Learn how to use the ILRPC, and ILRPC 1.4 in particular, as a guidepost or roadmap, to establish a relationship with your client from the onset that’s going to avoid communication problems and help you enhance your communication with clients to avoid difficult outcomes.
  • Apply the ten ways to effectively communicate with your clients, and other best practice tips discussed.
  • Reflect on the perception of your client regarding the representation, and your obligations to promptly inform clients of information and keep your clients reasonably informed on the status of matters.
