Disciplinary Procedures From A to Z



Program Description:
An overview of the ARDC procedures and policies governing the disciplinary process.

Program Objectives:
  • Gain an understanding of the basis and review of professionalism complaints and the procedural process by which complaints are evaluated and reviewed by ARDC staff.
  • Learn how the attorney is informed and how to assess the severity of a complaint.
  • Learn about the ARDC inquiry process and the anatomy of a disciplinary hearing, as well as review board procedures and policies.
Important MCLE Notice:
If you have previously viewed this program and received a Certificate of Completion, you may only claim MCLE credit once for this Program within a 12-month period. The ARDC reports individual attorney attendance to the MCLE Board by the 5th of the month subsequent to the date of completion of the MCLE program (for example, September events will be reported by October 5).
